Preparation of materials

This is one of the most important phases in the production cycle, one that is closely related with the long experience matured in the sector of primary aluminium. After collecting them, scraps are carefully selected, separated by alloy and sorted (iron, plastics, wood...).

In the second stage, scraps undergo a series of other processes, i.e. shredding, sieving, separation and baling, thereby enabling a better final use of the resource and optimizing the storage of the same material.

After yet another confirmation of the alloy homogeneity, as confirmed by the quantometer analysis and the radiometric control of the product, the so-called "scrap" is ready to be marketed again as a commodity in any extruded or laminate form.
